Here is a swinging dixie arrangement of the song every knows - Jingle Bells.
If you can manage someway to get a '2 & 4' pattern happening, then this piece will sound even better. Someone clapping on beat 2 and 4, or snapping fingers, or a musician tapping his foot loudly (or perhaps on a tambourine) while playing are all possibilities.
The trombone has the tougher part in this arrangement. It has to cover the bass line, which must be solid and cannot slow down!
